I have no clue about ownership changes. Not really that important to me, unless someone claims their 2001 vintage magnesium Halibrand wheels are worth more than my 2021 vintage.

OK, I claim my vintage 1991's are more valuable-more mag, less 'alloy'. They may in fact be lighter than the new batch...

Wouldn't more alloy and better purity make them more valuable, more expensive and ultimately lighter?

Again, the question may be moot, since production of a new batch is tenuous.
