And you paid for this thread and your enjoyment thereof.

patrickt 04-26-2011 05:17 PM

Ellie wants to know if the cam made it to you safe and sound.

blykins 04-26-2011 05:29 PM

Yep, and I already put all the fancy GM stuff in my lawnmower.

blykins 04-26-2011 05:42 PM

Nah, I didn't do that.....but I don't plan to use it.

Much thanks Patricia....it was a very nice gesture. Let me know if I can help you in the future.

Ellie can't read; I read these threads to her in a funny cartoon voice. But she won't be happy until he starts building the engine.

If he seizes up this beautiful new nitrided cam it will be because he didn't use that GM additive that I sent him.

blykins 04-27-2011 10:14 AM

With a nitrided cam and tool steel lifters, if this cam gets eaten, it will be a government-backed conspiracy.

No worries.

trularin 04-27-2011 11:59 AM

I had heard Brent was cruel, but taking it out on the lawnmower is low...

Does this mean there will be ten years of thread as you start something new?

blykins 04-27-2011 12:03 PM

Good to hear from you again Dave.

To answer your question, it depends on who's involved in the thread.

My customer's Boss 528 build thread went really fast...... ;)

patrickt 05-03-2011 12:10 PM

Let's have an update...

Are we making any progress yet?:confused::confused:

blykins 05-03-2011 12:21 PM

Yes, I laid the cam box on top of the block.

How about I just pay you for the cam? I can assure you that I'm not going to be in the habit of making "progress reports" every week.

Sminor 05-03-2011 12:28 PM

My guess is that it is too late for THAT Brent..............

Gosh, I was just checking in....%/

blykins 05-03-2011 12:40 PM

I didn't mean it like that Patrick. My point was that due to a budget (something some of you guys have no clue about) and staying busy here, things may not move for long periods of time.
