Patrick, you got that bumpstick yet?
I got the one that I ordered for the Boss 528 engine the other day and I think I ordered it just a few days before you ordered mine.

Well I guess that means "No.":p What stage/condition is the block in? Have you sent it out to be hot tanked or machined yet, or is it still in "rough and raw" condition?

Sorry, force of habit. Since I've convinced you to go SFT (and presumably the block is drilled for hydraulics), are you going to plug the galleys like Ford did or leave them open?

Why bother? The cam is just going to "whittle away" anyway. ;)
I think Patrick has been keeping himself busy setting up for the photograph of the camshaft in his hamds with Ellie in the background.

Yes, the block was drilled for hydraulics.
I'm going to leave them open...

Well, I won't let Ellie chew on it like a bone. Seriously, there is a difference of opinion on the "plug the galleys" issue with FE engine builders.

I find it awfully presumptuous to think that Brent doesn't know what he's doing or are you on a fact-finding mission for your next build?

I was just curious; nothing more. Some builders block them, some don't. But who knows, maybe he'll forget that sneaky little plug behind the distributor.%/

Well, that's understandable, I suppose. I've even been known to do that myself from time to time. Hopefully Brent will post some detailed specs on his build. Maybe some photos & vids as well. I couldn't be sure from his post but it sounds like the block is still untouched. Some shots of that would be nice.

This one needs baked, tumbled, and steel abrated....it's just downright nasty.
I don't think I've ever seen one with a mirror 352 though......anyone? Maybe I don't pay enough attention. I've seen "352"s and mirror "105"s but not mirror 352's.....

Update
Hopefully your cam will come this week. He did say he was sending it out for the nitriding treatment, but he has yet to ding my credit card. So I'm watching for the friendly UPS man to knock on the door. Ellie is getting excited too, which is good, because she's wearing a "cone collar" as a result of a cut on the paw.:(
