I think the Doc could be right also, I just wanted to go through progression to eliminate fuel. Thats easier than electrical, for me anyway. Electronics arrrrrgghh!!!
I meant the sight glass on the fuel bowls. If you don't have them then you'll have to take the little screws out of the side of each bowl and rock the car a little, fuel should dribble out. Sight glass the fuel should be no more than half way.
If a needle is stuck it will allow the bowl to overflow and kill the engine....in 10 seconds, once the fuel evaporates a little you can start it up again and the process continues.
Eliminate the easiest first
