Bravo.
It got a little weird when people were being threatened with aircraft carriers.

Endangering that this thread gets hitch-hiked (oh, it got already) and losing my long membership, I have to tell you:
This site was much better 10 years ago. It is far from good. Just ask the members who left.
I have no doubt that it is a lot of work, and I actually feel sorry for the moderators having to watch over ever words that gets typed and in the process have no other social life left. Maybe the "lounge" section should get deleted.
Of course, I can ignore it, and so can anybody else. Many did and do - only to never come back.
It's a common behaviour that older members, or established ones for that matter, gets listened to more. That's just what it is. If Lynn P. was here to join with an unknown avatar and ramble he would risk getting dissed by "older" members.
Go out there, drive your cars, eat a burger. If you have a problem with the car, come back to the forum and ask a question. Even if it had been asked 27 times. We are here to help.
On my way into the desert of Namibia. Don't expect a reply for a few days - if ever..

Dominik
I left Stormbringer's comments and complaints about this site and me personally unmolested and without a response from me...my skin's thick enough for that. In my line of work, I get verbally attacked daily. I'll let folks draw their own conclusions.
But being a long-time member, your comments deserve a response.
To begin with, members come and go and sometimes return after lengthy periods of being gone...that's the nature of internet special interest sites. Why they leave, or come back, is their own business and they generally don't share their reasons with us...maybe they do with you, or maybe you're just drawing some conclusions of your own.
Second, the person(s) in question came in here not knowing anyone. I tried my best to have good discussions with him. After awhile, having someone come in and try to buy some love with talk about giveaways or insights into their wealth or importance really doesn't cut it with most folks. Having met Lynn very briefly, since you're dropping his name, I feel pretty damn certain he wouldn't be coming on here with that kind of attitude. We have other celebrities on this site...known to the moderators but kept confidential...that also don't have that attitude when they're amongst us common folk.
Third, coming on as a newbie and immediately telling folks off and proclaiming they have a better way to run a site...nope, ain't gonna cut it any more than someone moving into an established neighborhood and telling everyone off.
I'm here to prevent arguments...and I'll do it every damn time I see one.
Wanna make me the bad guy? Fine and dandy. Here I am.
Be that as it may...I hold no ill will towards you and appreciate the time you spent in expressing yourself.
Now...time to get back to the thread topic...or it will be closed. Thanks.

I can promise you that that the above OP to this thread is not Lynn Park's account name here.

"El Cid" was a Buffalo Cobra. Hans was a cousin of a good friend of mine and we often saw the car "back in the day".......never imagined Lynn would end up with it one day.

You mean "Cobra Heaven"? It's on eBay regularly. Here's a link to one.

Here's another. Don't let my good looks ruin the shot like 'Cobra Heaven'.
I'll try to download some more from my camera.
And THANKS to mrmustang.

The red 427 on the right in the poster was recently sold to Bruce Canepa, who has been advertising it for sale.
