Sorry, but I won't STOP. If you, Evan or whoever will STOP posting about the Shelby replicas being genuine, real or authentic, then I'll STOP. No rest until then.
I'm not the one who is creating these threads. Not one of them. Evan has created a few.
BTW, when you and others post on the subject of historical accuracy between AC and Shelby, I never post. Not an area of expertise.
I post when LOGIC is broken.

So what is the next Reigistry going to say Ned? The current production Shelby Cobras aren't Shelby Cobras? Puhleese. Really? Why wait. Publish a statement now. "
Ned: Rather than defending the same position again and again from (slightly) different vantage points, you may wish to re-read exactly what I said, which is that SAAC has ceded control of anything having to do with the later cars to the organization that built them. Nowhere did I suggest SAAC doesn't welcome them. Nowhere did I say they are not considered Shelby Cobras. For everyone's benefit, stop being such an arrogant and touchy twit and take the time to understand what is being said rather than continue to endlessly defend the same turf even when it hasn't been attacked.
To which I responded: Oh, thanks for clarifying. So it was all an honest misunderstanding. Gee I thought so. Then we agree the SAAC statements both then and now and the Registry which is consistent with those statments do clearly and honestly set forth SAAC's view on the current production Cobras (Continuation series). Glad we cleared that all up.
Yeah, I'll try and take your advice about the "arrogant" and touchy "twit stuff" and read more closely and you can follow suit and stop being a pompous a$$ and condescending towards the current production Shelby Cobras and write more clearly what you mean."

The above really must have hurt when your "champion" was shown the door on the issue. His further claim that SAAC "ceded control of anything doing with later cars" is hooey. Yeah, right, that's why they are still taking registration info on current production Cobras, FGT's etc...and the current statement states its purpose as the exact opposite of the hooey your champion tried to peddle.
Keep trying.

No not at all.
Ned Scudder, the SAAC Cobra Registrar called them a replica. Other Board members think the same. Both you and Tony (TwoBJShelbys) called them a replica.
The SAAC Registry doesn't give a $hit about them, so they ceded control. And I assume the SAAC Registry will remove all replicas from their Registry. If for some reason they don't, then I'm sure definitions will change in the next update in another few years and they'll keep the references of "Cobra-like" and "true replica." Remember what Ned said, those definitions and the rest of the Registry required a deft touch at a time when Shelby and SAAC weren't friendly. We'll see what the future holds.
But ultimately, logic tells me that a replica cannot be considered genuine, real or authentic.
Logic, facts and the current and future Registries.

When you say "champion" I'm assuming you mean Historian, when referring to Ned. Ned is one of the leading historians on the original Cobras.
The only champions, at least recently, that I recognize are the 2010, 2012 and 2014 San Francisco Giants and the 2014-2015 Golden State Warriors. Oh, and I'll include the 2015 Women's World Cup Champions from the USA after spanking Japan 5-2.
