Want a CSX? Then buy a CSX.
Want a Kirkham? Then buy one.
I'm just waiting to hear from someone that actually did either lately.%/

Interesting post, probably not so much Bernica as you, seems Evan getting his asking price weighs heavily on your mind

For the record, what appears to be Blue66's quote is actually mine. Blue66 improperly quoted me so it appears to be his quote. I was giving Bernica a hard time in jest, because the Haggerty site only gave the CSX alloy body a $15,000 premium over fiberglass.

However, you're correct. Blue66 seems to be heavily invested in Evan getting "his price."

And you are more invested hoping he doesnt.

Don't give a $hit either way. The actual price will never be known to the public anyway. What Evan does have going for him is that his car is desirable. The Green Bay Packer CSX Edition, not so much. ;)

Someone who didn't care would have made one statement and moved on. You clearly have ome issues with people who own or wpyld want to own shelby csx cars. Why?

Do digressions into Quesalupas count as statements? Clearly, you're the only person with issues here. Relax Tony, the rest of us are just having fun.

No, now that Ron61 says we have to turn the clocks back that means we have to go back in time and do it all again.

Carry a book around with you because if you set your clock back, you'll be two hours early for any appointments you have.

Well, if you are going to be correct you would be two hours late for your appointments :)

This thread just keeps getting funnier and funnier.

NotReal1 has only been gone a few months and we don't have anyone else to aggravate us.
See, we need him here so we can all have someone to mutually despise. Without him, we're like a pack of dogs without the three legged cat to chase. We keep running around in circles biting the butt of whoever is in front of us.

But, keep it up, it's still fun to read.

Yes IF I buy any more new Cobra's they will have a CSX # .. Whats the big deal ?? You like alum cars. I don't see the problems with guys that want/have a CSX car. Cars/real estate.. Same $$$$

GO Evan !!!:D

an aluminium body is more authentic than a badge ;), don't understand the issue with csx in plastic..., but everybody as he likes,

in general i either dont understand the problems with evans price

when he sets a new mark, every car beyond that level is getting more worth,
so everbody could be confident if he is successful...

Do a search of Real1's posting history and you will see what the problem is/was. You're too new here to have been a witness to his egocentric behavior.

yes, i had a look at it, but his behavior has nothing to do with the price ;)

As far as I can tell, no one has a problem with Evan's price. Now, I think it's funny (and counterintuitive) that when he couldn't sell it for $229,000, he decided to raise his price to $249,000. It's America. He can do it whatever he wants, but IMO, its 2004 all over again, when he last thought about selling it, but decided not to. He (or his wife) is not serious about selling. Again, IMO, if he were serious, he would place ads also on CobraCountry and eBay too. Hemmings does not have a large audience and I'd speculate it's an old(er) audience.

ClubCobra is a discussion forum for mainly Cobra replicas and we're all just talking about various Cobra topics including the sale of Cobra replicas like Evan's. There's no animus here.

i think it has a logic to rise the price of the offer when all the prices in the surrounding are rising...

jhv48 03-12-2016 12:46 PM

Doesn't matter if he raises the price.

Won't sell at $229,000. Still won't sell at $249,000. And, guess what, it won't sell at $300,000 either.
