Wouldn't work. Most of the shares are owned by the family and execs.
Weren't you all saying a few months ago that there was some conspiracy to raise the stock price? The shares were worth more printed and hanging on the wall but now the cost of printing (any stock) has gone through the roof.
IIRC, 75% of Shelby was sold to a 3rd party company and then they took it public. I think we could make everyone a deal that they couldn't refuse. Here's my lead negotiator:

I actually own 1,000 shares for fun. Tried to get a stock certificate to hang on the wall. $500 for a certificate from SAI. No, I didn't do it.

Same here, but it wasn't SAI that was charging the fees. It was Chas. Schwab. You can buy a certificate through "Give A Share" (#1 In One Share Stock Gifts - Buy Disney stock and 100 others). 110 in a paper frame, 152 in a classy frame. It doesn't look like it used to. I recall that it had a Cobra or Shelby's picture in the background, now it's just got the logo....

Schwab calls me to and tells me how dumb you were for buying the stock.

Be careful. You might be accused of "sour grapes." And you own a CSX.
Go have a Quesalupa, and ask for the reduced fat sour cream per the suggestion of Patrick.

BTW, did anyone see this alloy CSX4349 for sale on the SAAC Forum:
Asking $180G's. I'm really not a big fan of green. Not my favorite color, but better than beige.
Just a followup on this earlier post of mine. CSX4349, which is an aluminum bodied CSX, sold on eBay in January 2016 for $150,000. Billy Andrews of HRE built the car, same shop that takes care of Evan's CSX:

These are the simplest cars on the planet. Even a one armed monkey could take care of these cars.

Well....they are pretty basic. But Patrick, even you have to admit they have their "special issues". Not like working on my old Galaxy! And remember, each and every one is different!;)

I personally believe that no one takes the care, the time, and provides the deliberate loving hand to these cars more than the owner.

Yes, agree. I took mine to a shop to do some things I can't and it was quite excruciating! I was there in the way every day. Also got a nice bill for it!

Agreed. The previous owner of my car had a 'trusted mechanic' do most of the work on the car, and it was obvious they didn't care or take the time to do it right. There were many things I've had to deal with, but I feel much better about the car now, especially when it comes to the safety issues.

Good for Evan! Do we know who bought it yet? I know..."in the Registry"! But it won't be there for a while...

Sorry, I totally missed last part of your post Al G. Is this true?
