Of course, you don't have sour grapes. Your car is only worth $15,000 less than Evan's.

Isn't about time for the early bird dinner buffet at Caesars?

Yes, I could. But it's a train wreck!

Best buffet is Avia. Cheapest (good one) is the Green Valley Ranch.

For the record, this thread would have died an earlier death, but not for folks who post about auctions of 289 FIA's and slabsides....

sorry for that, i checked in here very lately (#535) and despite the fact i dont know anything about 427 and have only very little knowledge about 289, i have to write everywhere about 289 ;)

I try to avoid buffets. They go against my "grain." (pun intended) :D

Best breakfast deal in town is GVR. Locals get a coupon for 1/2 off. So the two of us eat for about 4.50. They cook up an excellent omelette to order. Most of the times the food is really just mediocre and stopped being cheap years ago.

If you ever do go to one (advice to other Vegas visitors) be sure to go to the desk and get a player's card. Almost all discount $2-3 with the card.

Do they have a kale, sprouts and quinoa buffet?

How can you eat that $hit? Unless you cover them with melted butter, that stuff just doesn't satisfy.:MECOOL:

Well, ya remember when Bernica said "...the deal went through like sh_t through a goose"? The name of the game (of life) is all about "elimination" baby! ;)

Do you know how long meat stays in your system?

"Satisfaction" is all in your head. (Bernica, please no Rolling Stone references)

Almost all have brussel sprouts. I like them. And yes they are slathered in butter. That helps the salt stick. My wife had kale once.

BTW, did anyone see this alloy CSX4349 for sale on the SAAC Forum:

CSX4349 Aluminum Cobra with Shelby 428 motor

Asking $180G's. I'm really not a big fan of green. Not my favorite color, but better than beige.

So, Shelby is also selling a demo alloy 9000-series Coupe for $650,000:

1969 Shelby Daytona 50th Anniversary Coupe for sale #1813581 | Hemmings Motor News

I realize this has zippo to do with Evan's Cobra, but doesn't Shelby have to keep some demo cars around to give rides to prospective customers?

The FIA roadsters plus the Coupe = $1,280,000 (asking prices).

Bernica 03-15-2016 02:39 PM

SAI stock is at 9 cents today....

Maybe we should form an LLC, buy it and take it private.

Gosh, I hope Kirkham gets their money upfront.

So, roughly 15MM shares @ $0.09 = $1,350,000. Say $150,000 to Patrick and Jamo for legal fees and for $1.5MM we could own Shelby American!

Edit: This assumes that 100% of shares of Shelby are public.

But it's down $0.06 today or 40%!

I guess those badges aren't selling for as much as they used to.

Wouldn't work. Most of the shares are owned by the family and execs.

Weren't you all saying a few months ago that there was some conspiracy to raise the stock price? The shares were worth more printed and hanging on the wall but now the cost of printing (any stock) has gone through the roof.

When you need cash, then cash is king! I'm sure somebody is saying "get as much out of these cars as we can". ;)
