This law potentially states you cannot take a street car and remove the emissions to turn it into a race car. Do you REALLY think all the engines, intakes, cams, heads, etc are all going on race cars converted from street cars? My car is titled as a 2000 model and it is 100% exempt from emissions.

If they pass what they want ....no one will be modifying any race car engines. You will be racing factory sealed smog legal with cats or you will not get on the track...that's what I read.....

My point was people are modifying everything now and these are not race cars at all. I thought they were just trying to attack the weekend racer that drives his car to work Monday through Friday with no cats, killer cam, and all the other goodies.

Oh come on! Just because Oklahoma now has more earthquakes than California means nothing! I am not worried about the fracking, I am worried about the injection wells where they pump in all the crap left over. A LOT less is being said about this upcoming nightmare than the actual fracking!

My guess would be the NIMBY crowd that wants everything for the cheapest price possible. They ***** about losing jobs to China, then run to WalMart to buy everything.
