I successfully made two sills today. Many thanks to everyone that provided excellent feedback and suggestions. I used .040 3003-H14 aluminum, 2" x 36". I made a lip 1/2 wide and proceeded to stretch and shrink to fit a buck I made from the contour of the body. I cut a piece of the carpeting that came with the kit (I won't be using it anyway) to check gap between the lip of the sill and carpeting. Body needs some trimming. Easy stuff
