I wanted to add this from my experience with Finishline recently. Placed two orders a week apart. It should have been one order but my cranium was up my rear end! Anyway, both orders filled and I received both about a week after placing the orders. No issues with Finishline at all.

Larry when you go to the Finishline site. Which part are ordering from? Finishline or Cobra performance? I have ordered from Cobra Performance part of it and never had a problem. Finishline has never had anything I was looking for. But then again I am only looking for stuff that fits an original type car.

Yeah, I should say that I order from Cobra Performance for parts to fit original type cars. Virtually everything I'm buying is small stuff that couldn't be found anywhere else. Not the kind of stuff Finishline sells. (front steering column mount was one part)
But while they are two different locations, it's the same management and ownership, isn't it?

Larry at one time I asked about Finishline when ordering from Cobra Performance.. Was told they have nothing to do with Finishline. Dont know how that works with going to the finishline site.

Not sure how they could claim to not have anything to do with each other:

Ordered from Finishline over a month ago. No responses to emails and such. Just reached out to get the charges canceled. Shame. Need Side pipe Heat Shield Clamps as the rivets on mine busted.

I recently (2/13) placed an order for wing windows. After 3 email and 3 phones calls I finally connected with the one guy working on the orders - he was working on orders from mid January. Was pleasant enough once I able to talk with him. I guess just allow plenty of lead time.

I've bought from this website 6 months ago and no news of the product. Tried to contact and call them but no answer.

I am just baffled because I wanted to give them my business. Built a cart of nearly $1000. Called and turns out that the voicemail box is full, indicating that it hasn't been checked for a while.

Waited, tried contacting. Emailed, still no response.

I guess I was naive enough to assume something had improved. Clearly, things haven't.

Vintage Wheels has most things I was looking for. I found the shifter at iconicparts. There are some grommets etc. that I still need, but I am sure I'll find them elsewhere.

Weird way of doing business.

This is what is confusing, you say this site but do not say, the exact one .please say the exact vendor so there will be less confusion .

With a thread that is nearly a hundred posts long and over two years old warning about this reseller, it is astounding how someone would buy from them (apparently w/o reading) and then come to the thread to complain about what the thread speaks to.

It’s CSX Parts. Don’t think we are supposed to promote them on this forum. Don’t think they are a supporting vendor. Primarily original parts replacement stuff not an accessory shop like Finishline.

Yes that’s the one. Just purchased a few things from them 2 weeks ago. 1 week to get from CA to CT no issues. They answer the phone too.

Anybody that gets burned today in a transaction with this jerk and then comes to this site or this thread to cry, deserves what happened to them.

The first post in this thread (not counting other older threads) was in February of 2020 more than two years ago. If you chose to buy without checking out the reseller and then come after the fact to cry about what happened to you, you are deserving of your predicament.

You should think of your predicament as a learning experience. Consider the price of the trinket you purchased as the tuition you paid. Who knows if you go to class often enough you might even graduate.

Coming to the CC site after the fact and complaining will not fix you problem, this guy doesn't give a $hit. Pro-actively searching the CC site for bad news about a particular reseller before purchasing makes a lot more sense than complaining after purchasing.

Shoot, ready, aim, complain never works as well as research, ready, aim, shoot.
