Rear end moving
Does anybody have a problem with their rear end moving when they let up off the gas shoots the car to the left . Everything looks good no rust no marks on the frame or torsion bars

something is loose check suspension or loose axle.

Or a bushing is shot and anchor point loose. Happens a lot with poly bushing especially if movement is not linear with the bushing and puts it in a twist. Old Corvettes (63-82) exhibit this behavior when their trailing arm bushings are shot or toe-alignment shims have fallen out.

What are you using for rear drive rear suspension?. If you were using a solid rear axle housing and leaf springs , Id bet you had a broken centering bolt on one side leaf spring At work we had a old Dodge pick up truck and when on the gas it wanted to go a little one way and when you'll let off the gas it would want to go another direction. One end of the rear axle housing was shifting forward and rearward of center on the leaf springs .

I had a similar problem.
I run BFG tires at about 22psi.
Turned out one rear tire had bled down to about 16psi.
Filled the tire to 22psi and the problem disappeared.

The problem might also be bad bump steer at the front end, or a sagged spring (or diagonal imbalance).

I’m betting you have a broken weld on one of your axle tubes.... it happened to me twice on a A&C.... Early Shell Valley and A&C’s shared the same frame and a 9” from Johns 9” Rears. You can see the broken weld where the tube enters the diff. If that’s your problem PM me and I tell why it happened

Felt some wiggle in the rear end of my SPF (SN 1782) and determined that the right rear wheel bearing is bad. In the process now of taking off the hub carrier to have the bearing replaced. Research shows the replacement bearing is Timken #513058. From other's posts they suggest taking out the bottom control arm bolts so the hub can pivot up to allow room to press out the axle from the bearing. Am I on the right track here?
