"What did it cost?"
Since I didn't want to hijack another thread, I decided to start one looking for how you answer that dreaded question "What did it cost?"
I don't remember strangers coming up to me a couple of years ago and coming right out and asking what the cost of my Cobra was. This past summer, it became the number one question and frankly I am finding in quite rude.
It is one thing for a car guy to spend a half hour talking about the Cobra then to say something like "How much ya got in it?". It is another thing for a complete stranger to start off by asking about the cost. The first few times I was asked, I gave an honest answer then I started to become more vaque saying something like "More than $20,000" or "How much do you think it costs?"
Is it only me that is getting the "cost" question on a regular basis or are others getting asked also. What is your favorite reply?
