Not Ranked
Apples & Oranges!!! (T-bird & FORD GT)
Not to argue, but I think paying 20K over for a T-bird is totally different then paying 65K over for a Ford GT... Personally, I waited until 2003 to buy my 'Bird and got it as a fleet vehicle at under dealer cost... That being said, I don't think any dealer is going to sell the GT at MSRP or less... Both are limited production vehicles, but the 'Bird doesn't have the history of the GT...
I believe that the Ford GT will actually appreciate in value over time, but it's against my principles to pay over MSRP for any vehicle... I guess I'll have to live with my ERA GT-40 for a long time.... Which, BTW isn't all bad...
FYI, Galpin Ford, (the world's largest volume Ford dealer) in the San Fernando Valley is only getting 5 GT's... I realize factors other than volume sales come into play for allocations but still....
And finally, good luck, Steve...
