Bought my Cobra last month, ordered tags this week. Slim pickin's here in Ohio, but did manage to secure 66 SC so, I was happy. Best part is, it's a reserve plate, not a personal, so saves ~$50.

Maybe someone mentioned this already (this post is the longest...!) -- I like the one Wayne put on his website version:

Received mine about three months ago: IEATHWY

Oops, the image didn't show up. It's a California plate that says FST SNKE. [This message has been edited by Rich (edited 01-07-2001).] |

In Ca... well you know the story with DMV...It took awhile but its registered & titled as a (no smog)1965 Cobra...(don't ask, don't tell) with the following personalized plate "IM2 QWIK". Will post if I can figure how to reduce to <20k... Help appreciated.

In June 1999, I asked my wife if she would retire in 2002 when I turned 62. She said " No way, she was going to work until 2006". That left me no choice but to take some loot from my 401k and buy me a SNAKE. Hence my vanity plate reads "MY 401K". I sold that SPF in November and ordered me a new SPF from Snakepit Automotive in Freeport, Long Island. It is being powered up with a 392 stroker hooked to a TKO which is scheduled for delivery to me in mid March. Anxious ? You better believe it.

My tags are "Bitten", it seems appropiate.

Bought and paid for this tag in 1982 for my
67 GT500, then the DMV wrote me that it was too mean: HISS ON UText Wonder if they would still ban it 18 yrs later? |
