52 here in Honolulu. Took me a year to find the Cobra I wanted when I was ready to buy. Had to be the "right one". I've been into racing in some from or other most of my life. I race my Cobra now and race it hard! No trailor queens, never have been, never will be! Mid life crisis? Maybe, but I had to pay for the house before I could buy my toy. And you know, I FEEL way younger these days, ha ha!

None of your darn business

Just kidding, 38. I have wanted a Cobra ever since I was in my early teens. Just now can afford it. My wife talked me into buying one already done so she wouldn't be a 'Cobra Widow'. Her idea really didn't work that well since I have been tinkering with it non-stop.

Funny thing you mentioning 'mid-life crisis'. My wife was approached shortly after we got the car. Another mother said to her 'I saw your husbands mid-life crisis'!

Age is 57, the mind feels like it's 21, the body is another story.

Don't you just love these toys?

HOLY DINOSAURS, BATMAN - - - -

I AM IN THE MIDST OF CHILDREN. - - - ANOTHER WAY OF LOOKING AT IT IS "I AM PROBABLY THE OLDEST FART ON CAMPUS".

I'LL BE 68 IN DECEMBER. I'M STILL HAVING ONE HELL OF A GOOD TIME. I DEARLY LOVE OLD CARS, YOUNG WOMEN AND OLD WHISKEY (OCCASIONALY RAKI - - FOUR DAYS IS VINTAGE RAKI).

IT MAY BE 68 ON THE OUTSIDE BUT IT'S STILL 35 ON THE INSIDE.

HEY - - - THE ONLY THING WORSE THAN GETTING OLD IS "NOT" GETTING OLD.

REMEMBER GUYS - - AS TIME TICKS AWAY - - YOU DON'T QUIT PLAYING BECAUSE YOU GET OLD - - - YOU GET OLD BECAUSE YOU QUIT PLAYING.

Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY,

Dream Car

Hi All,

I've been researching Cobra Kits. My dream car has alwasy been a Cobra with a FE and a 4speed/5speed. Since I could never afford one at the time (1994) I built a drag car instead and now I have almost as much money in the DRAG CAR!! Well Drag racing became a second job and I have slowed down a bit and beginning to tinker with the idea of transplanting my 427 into a Cobra (will have to change pistons). But anyway I'm 33 and in hopes of getting one soon. I'll have to sale several of my FE's (428's) as well as my race car to fund this project.

Good Luck

(continued).....25 years about them, that maybe, just maybe, some how, some way. Got mine at age 43. Just in time too. The Cobra got the testosterone flowing, such that my wife and I will have our 1st child together after trying off/on for 5 years (with the help of specialists). Found out 1 month after I bought the Cobra!

Had two Mustangs in the 80s ('68 289 2V and a '71 Mach1 351C). Proud Cobra owner since 2001 ...... 42 years old.

You guys are old. I just look old and have the grumpy attitude to go with it. I'll turn 30 in a couple of years...hehe

anchor2 11-14-2002 07:35 AM

I'm 38 and just ordered my SPF last week.

Took a ride in a real 427 when I was 7 years old. Scared the hell out of me screamed to stop the car and the owner laughed just as load as the car. Got out of the car went inside and thought....someday I got to get one of those! Been hooked on cars since.
