Will this thread ever go away. I fall farther down the list every post. You young kids of under 50 are giving me a real complex.

Ron :)

Hi,

Sorry for the bad news, but I am adding to your complex at the ripe old age of 30. I felt obligated to start my midlife crisis early and get it over with. However, I am still trying to master puberty. I guess I bit off more than I can chew, HUH??

Chris

I'm 27. :)

Yetiman 04-17-2005 12:38 PM

39 here...

Jim Kellogg 04-17-2005 12:45 PM

I'm 52. Want to make sure the grandson is hooked on getting a Cobra while he is still young (3yo now)!!!

Anyone set off someone's car alarm while cruising this weekend?
(got 2 so far...)

CriticalMass 04-17-2005 01:36 PM

I'm 22. Some guy about a hundred posts ago said he thought he was the youngest at 23. But I'm only in the game because of a series of unfortunate events. My dad deserves credit for actually building the car, so I don't know if I count :).

blykins 04-17-2005 01:54 PM

You're a Cobra owner. You count. :)

Your dad did well. You should be very proud of what you own.

I,m 60 years young but I know a gentleman that just got his 1st cobra last week and is 74!!!!!! God bless him.

HI Cobra 04-17-2005 03:11 PM

I recently turned 62 years young and have had my cobra for 4 years.
I just celebrated a 6 month cancer free anniversary, and you know what,
I drive that thing every chance I get now - I see no reason to give my
son a low mileage Cobra!
Enjoy them while you can - who knows what tomorrow may bring!

Ron61 04-17-2005 03:57 PM

Ok, while we are on the I know a guy thing, one of the men here has had two Cobras in the past 4 years and he was 83 his last birthday. He drives them in the Winter with enough clothing on that he looks as if he weighs 300 pounds. He actually weighs 124 he told me. But he loves tinkering with cars and will get another one as soon as he gets everything to his satisfactioon on this last one. He bought a new Corvette in 2002 and got rid of it in three months because there wasn't anything on it he could improve or tinker with. :)

Ron

At least from the ages I have seen, I am the oldest on this thread. So respect your elder please.

BPWilliams 04-17-2005 05:35 PM

Took a while

Well I was 35 when I bought ther car, and it took me 2.5 years to get it on the road. It has been running for 2 years now and what a blast.
Looking at building that GT-40 for the hot summer months here in AZ..... need a top and AC, oh and something that does not overheat sitting on the freeway....

For me it was an unfulfilled dream for 30 years. I am 57 now. Graduated HS and went to college in '65 when real Cobras were the ultimate car. Decided to build my first one as a college graduation present. Not my graduation but my youngests college graduation. Enjoyed it for almost 10 years, sold it and just finished my new one this month

C4 Cross Fire 05-17-2005 01:16 PM
