I always wanted to build a car. I helped my dad work on cars in his garage when I was a kid and we built a go cart together. From that time I always dreamed of building a very fast car.
I loved the shape of Ferraris (esp. the 250 GTO) and built Ferrari slot cars to race when I was a teenager. It was at a slot car track in Pasadena, Texas that I saw my first Cobra in 1965.
I started building my Arntz at age 34 and "finished" it at age 40. Of course, they're never finished, are they?
