I think it's just a matter of belief and perception, although it generates arguments, and no one will win.

I'm not taking one side or the other, but I've been a SAAC member for a very long time, and I'm very sure SAAC knows virtually everything that's Shelby and/or Cobra, but they're just humans. Not everyone takes what they say as gospel and definitions can change with time.

Evan knows his car is a real Cobra. Others believe it's a Cobra just like any of the others.

Personally, when I see a CSX, Kirkham, FFR, BDR, SPF, Unique, or whatever, I say to anyone that's near me "Hey, there goes a Cobra."
