Reminds me of the Ferrari market in the nothwest in the early 80's. A Dealer would place an ad in Autoweek for a certain price (no Vin) and marked it "Sold" the following week, then relisted the car with an inflated price. This went on for quite a while, thus increasing the perceived value of the cars. Sounds like the housing boom here in California before it went "POP"!!!
