514's are good motors, but there is one issue you need to investigate. The all came with a solid roller cam. These cams do not allow the valve train to live in a street driven car.
The following is straight from their 2009 catalog for the 521 engine which is the same from 2007 and 2008 for the 514 engine.
Mechanical roller camshaft, M-6250-A514 (mechanical roller camshafts
not recommended for street use; contact Techline for more details).
Provides significant horsepower increases above 3500 rpm and good
low-end torque. Valve lift is .640" intake and exhaust. Duration at .050"
is 254 degrees intake and 258 degrees exhaust.
I would check out the cam to see if it's still the original cam, and if so swap it out along with the valve springs.
