A 427 Cobra always requires an FE. This is my biased opinion.
And even wrong opinions are welcomed.

If we're talking about $/hp, then I would add this info after looking at some of my own engine package pricing. I tried to do an apples/apples as much as I could. So whatever the Coyote comes with, that's what I looked at when comparing the other engines. You can expect a buck or two difference either way....this is just a general comparison.

*Coyote 5.0, with engine management - $18/hp
*Coyote 5.0, 525hp blower option - $27/hp
*Coyote 5.0, 625hp blower option - $23.5/hp
*B2 Motorsports 351W - $18/hp
*B2 Motorsports Boss 557 - $30/hp
*B2 Motorsports 557 - $19/hp
*B2 Motorsports 445FE - $22/hp
*B2 Motorsports 482FE (aluminum) - $28/hp
*B2 Motorsports 445W - $21/hp

It's really hard to do a comparison across engine packages, so I'm sure I jacked that up some how....

BBF's are going to be tough competitors here....

However, that Ford Racing engine is missing quite a few parts though, so that number will go up a bit. Their engines are never complete....

351 Cleveland converted to 400 ci. It has heads that are WAY beyond what they should be.
