see now its to show how arrogant you can be. You all have taught me a lot in a single thread. Please continue so that may become a better cobra owner. I'm not sure I can get there without a polished car. But I will try.
This thread has a number of helpful people that have a consensus that the car pictured on the first page is a B&B. There was also a bit of a discussion about the car produced by Shelby Automobiles with the serial number CSX4032, which is not the car pictured on the first page.

I'm not sure where the arrogance is coming into play. Although it seems that you did not start the thread. Perhaps your car has an ID plate on it somewhere that says it is CSX4032? Perhaps it was arrogant of the thread starter to point out that your car is a B&B.

Maybe you purchased your car thinking it was a car built by Shelby Automobiles? If so and you paid a premium over the cost of a B&B car, then perhaps you might have a case to go after the seller for misrepresenting the car as something it was not.

On the other hand if you purchased your car knowing that it was not a car built by Shelby Automobiles and were not aware of the significance of a CSX4000 series serial number, why not just enjoy your car for what it is? You don't need a polished car, an ERA, two single hoop rollbars, a small block with webers, an automatic transmission, solid lifters or whatever someone else feels is important to them. Hopefully you can enjoy what you have and not worry about everyone else's opinion on what features of their cars are important to them.

I'd like to hear more of the story...
