A 42 gallon Fuel Safe fuel cell is good for 4 years, then goes to hell.
Replacement cost is over $4k and that's just for the new bladder and internal foam, not to mention work to replace it all.
How do I know this?
Pulled the tank, pulled the cell, had it welded up with internal baffles, isolated pickup area etc.
If I race it, then I will deal with that.

1 Transmission

1 Ammeter
1 Anything Lucas Switches
1 Fuel Safe Cell
1 Clutch Related
Levy says the fuel safe cell lasts for 10 years. If I change mine I am going to regular tank.

I'll second these two:

Clutch master cylinder (probably heat related)

Exhaust header to side pipe leak (makes for some awesome blasts and pops on deceleration)

So Far - the dirty (half) dozen:

1. alternator charge wire connection worked loose and fried the wire and alternator - probably nut pinched terminal insulator and vibrated loose

2. charging system not charging - not enough resistance to "excite" VR into charging action

3. black ceramic coating failed on exhaust - bad ceramic powder formula from California due to environmental rules change

4. lucas switch failed to switch (surprise, surprise)

5. heater shut off valve at engine had leak from porosity in metal.

6. brake master cylinder leaked fluid from start.

Can't believe FE oil leaks are not on here yet, but cooling system and getting carb dialed in are also in my top three. Smith's speedometer went south as well.
