hi thanks for the input. I have to raise the tie rod ends to bring the steering arms as close to parallell with the control arms to minimise bump steer. I am thinking of heating the cast steel stub axel and bending the tie rod connection point about 20mm upwards. Is this a very bad idea trying to heat and bend cast steel?
