And why the NT system is so good, Before you start you put your proposal in to the MVR with everything listed - and seek approval, once approved you must meet ADR's for the time of approval on the paperwork, Ie mine was dated 2004.
There is a guy in town building a GT40, has been building it for many years, he submitted his paperwork back when it was ok to register with carbies and not run LPG (he has 4 webbers fitted)
