Ford EECIV Sensors
Just started to old girl for the first time this week and it's running like an old goat. On startup it wont idle unless i carefully feather the throttle and it stalls under quick acceleration. No load as yet, still just on the hoist.
Before i head off to a local tuner, I'm curious to know with some of the EEC sensors removed by a guy that trimmed the engine loom down for me if all the required inputs are there to get it running properly.
The Ford Fuel Injection site has heaps of info but doesn't really address what can and can't be deleted (at least as far as i can see)
Specifically, the Air Charge Sensor (ACT) and VSS are deleted, plus as the exhaust is not complete no HEGOs plugged in either.
I'll set up and get the fault codes from the EEC later this w/e.
