Granted, the fuel rails are there and there will some cabling for the injectors, but overall, not too bad, I reckon.

Not sure I have looked at that distributor since putting it in Rob. With Fords the need is not great.

I got the el-cheapo ELM327 USB interface working with my Volkswagen GTI last night using TouchScan software trial edition. It can view engine parameters while running, log data, read error codes, etc. This is encouraging because VWs are notoriously fussy with generic ODB2 readers. I'll give it a go with the Cobra on Friday.
