Yeh the oil spray is just the rocker covers pressurizing and blowing through the spark plug tubes apparently that's standard fare with those engines and just another oring required. I got home and just put it in the shed and haven't looked yet but I suspect that the timing chain snapped.

What a pain. I hope Keith will come to the party when the autopsy is complete.
It's not too late for me to buy you a Coyote motor and I'll swap you for the broken, oily old second hand motor
Nah, I don't want to make light of it; that's a damn shame to hear of the drama. It sounded great in the video and it looks stuuuuuuuuuunning!

Yeh can't say I'm real impressed honestly though I'll be interested to see why or how it broke a chain, I'm hoping that it's just a broken tensioner or something but either way not holding my breath.

My consolation prize was that I won a trophy, read the trophy and have a laugh I did when they awarded it.

Hahaha, yeah that chrome effect paint is very effective...!!!
Or is it just a really bright and particularly reflective silver paint?!?

Is there anything else?

Bar an original, I'd be happy to hear of any cobra in Australia more desireable than this one.

Is that chrome spray from a can or did you have it professionally done, you would have to have shaken a lot of cans to get that kind of finish. All jokes aside, magnificent car and worthy of all accolades, bugger about the cammer!
