Looking great Ben, Where did you get the boot strut ? I don't like the position of the gas struts and was looking for something a bit different.
I thought the toilet brush was a passenger accessory.

cheers
Dave

Thanks guys, I tried searching and reading through various build posts but obviously hadn't come across these ones.
Cheers,
George

Hi, the "bolt" is currently a piece of threaded rod which I'm going to replace with a socket head cap screw. I bolted on the threaded rod inside and used it to mark the inside of the body, then drilled a pilot hole from the inside and then used the hole saw from the outside.

Hey Mike, it's funny how we change our minds as we go through the build process. I had always planned for the past 4 years to use acorn nuts and had planned on painting them black to match, but now that the jacks are mounted I instantly changed my mind to stainless socket head cap screws.

A similar thing happened with what colour scheme I wanted on my car. Before I actually started to build a cobra for 20 years or so I wanted blue with white stripes, and as soon as I bought the car I changed my mind and chose to go with the black and silver approach.

Hi Dave, sorry missed your Q earlier. The strut came from Finishline;

Prop Rod, Trunk
