Somehow somewhere I summoned the strength to cut a few more holes in some fibreglass and we now have rear quick-jacks! The spacer's need a lick-o-paint still and I'm thinking about appearance of what bolt type to use on the outside. Traditional appears to be a high-tensile imperial hex-head but I think I like the idea of a stainless cap screw if I can get them long enough.
Also some rubber seal around the boot and bonnet to keep out the water and stop the shakes and rattles
And the boot stay went in, which means my trusty old cob-web brush goes back to sweeping cob-webs!
