Peter - Craig White seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth..... I left a couple of messages on his work mobile phone without an answer. He's not on holidays, but he's not answering his phone.
Is it paranoid to think that it's just my phonecalls that are left unanswered ?!?
Craig has all the email addresses for the Cobra club, and it looks as though the email hasn't been sent... All a bit of a mystery.

Craig,
What happened to good old pigeon post. At least that way you knew your message got to where it was supposed to get to.
To date we have you, Les, Scott (I think), us, Warren from the Gold Coast (I'll drop him an E-Mail to see if he's coming up with anybody else), and Tim (GT40).
Have you anyone else?
More the merrier!
Oh and Les should be around Moreton at this point feeding on the seegrass.

That weather forecast looks pretty ominous. Oh well, at least Les will be wet already....

SOUTHEAST COAST DISTRICT
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, clearing during the evening. More isolated
showers and thunderstorms developing again on Saturday afternoon and evening.
Light to moderate NE to NW winds, freshening on Saturday. A moderate to high
fire danger.
32 degrees forecast tomorrow, but will feel like a pleasant 26 at Wello.
Looks fine to me. Storms presently, but winds are pushing them on to the coast.
I would say that if tomorrow follows the pattern of today, we should be OK til at least 6 or 7 pm - by then we'll be well pi**ed that who will notice.
Anymore cars appeared since yesterday?
Hope Les is not getting too wet - with these winds he's probably been pushed back upto Sandgate - hope he gets here on time.
Maybe he can hop on a jet ski for the remaining trip.

I'm afraid my options are straight six (plently of low end torque) or 1.3 twin cam (can take on an old lady and pram - as long as she's got a walking stick).
I'm sure the day will be fine (stay above 70 and you'll stay dry anyway).
I feel a bit like a victorian talking about the weather.

Gawwddd.....It's sure is wet here..But...
I'll be there..according to my trusty GPS...I'm currently at 27degrees, 19 minutes and 13 seconds South by 153 degrees, 01 minute, 85 seconds east... only on 3 sats tho...not all that accurate.
Hope the batteries hold out in this thing
And you lot...when I make it out of the water...I dont wanna see greenpeace there....OK!!

What I wanna know is how the hell can you use this notice board when you're busy with the old breaststroke.
Now is that you have one of those underwater laptops, but what still gets me where do you connect the internet lead?
Maybe Craig has found a new way of connecting upto Telstra.
Keep breathing between the strokes

Minority group is the Cobra's.
Warren's backed out as he has to work having gone to the All Blacks v Tonga game at Lang Park yesterday.
Ah well, more food for the remaining renegades.
Weathers blue and breezy - perfect for the convertible brigade.

Oi Pete...wot a great day... Many thanks for organising it
Now..in normal Queenslander style...some suggestions for the next you organise..
There is no need to get the local constabulary to do drive by's....we are big fellas and can look after ourselves..
Get your local council to replace those black road markings with white ones....much easier to see
Ohh..and....didn't anyone ever tell ya that real english gentlemen drink Tea......
Hey..and...thank that lady you live with..she didn't have to go to the trubble making all those snacks and eaty things... she needs a medal living with you.
