Time to burn eh.. 
My Cobra needs all of the aluminium rubbed back with WD40 and pads.
Then there's the chassis to be cleaned after my many 'offs' and grass mowing at Wakefield Park Raceway...
I have also seen an acrylic product in the hardware shop called "Incrylac" an acrylic lacquer in a can suitable for spraying outside brass ware etc.
Check out the spray can cage. Grab a few extra 'colours' cans for some late night sign work..
Now the guy who took my '66 Mustang away is a bike guy called Cadel Evans - his pretty handy on a mountain bike also...
