Reptyl, One of the reasons I love Shelby Fest is the attitude of the Vic club committee and you have just proven that again.

I reckon Mikes Cobra with the aero screen will look sensational and expect once again he will start a new trend

Regards,

Phil

Phil, couldn't agree more. Those guys have the right attitude and can certainly put on a great event. Well worth the 3200km round trip.

Warwick runs an aero screen on his race Harrison. If I think of it will snap a photo. OzVenom also ran an aero screen on his old Cobra.

The aero screen is starting to take shape.

Took the plunge and drilled some holes in the body work. I installed a bunch of nutserts to bolt the screen down to. They should line up with the edge of a regular screen and be out of sight if I ever install a real screen (thanks for the measurements Phil).

I bought some thin craft wood to mae a template for the screen itself. After a bit of messing around with different shapes I think I've found one that looks OK.

Unfortunately it's not a good quality pic so it's hard to make out the shape. I'll hit it with some silver spray paint and wheel it out into the sun on the week end and see what it looks like from different angles.

I must say a thank you to Chris from Tool Time Engineering in Campbelfield. Chris cut and bent up the aluminium angle for me so I could form up the frame. Chris and his guys do some awesome stainless sheet metal fabrication and welding if you ever need anything like that. His number is (03) 9357 7553

Cheers
