I bought a subscription, and a some back issues - but never got the back issues, it seems they have problems receiving/sending emails a lot of the time.

Only received 3 issues in 1 year.Feb issue 9,June issue 10 and Sept issue 11.Hopefully speed up the frequency of the mag as they should be every 2 months approx.
|
In the last magazine(?) Robert Jacobs apologised for the delay of some issues as he had been sick.
I think KCM is very much a one man band. Kudo's to him for making the effort. I've also ordered a back issue and it arrived pretty quickly. As a comparison there is only one kit car magazine in the USA. UK has two or three. Cheers |

And it is even hotter just south of me, 47 at Coober Pedy today.

Sounds like great Cobra driving weather there..

I like how the weather is given. You all know how to deliver the message!
  :D |
I agree Dave, pretty much to the point. I wish our weather people would become a little less dramatic and get to the point around here.

Yes I wonder why we should take any notice of the scientists who talk about climate change, rising sea levels and global warming when they cannot tell you what the weather will be like next week with any accuracy..:3DSMILE:
|
Next week? What about next day! My window gives better weather predictions...
|
Thats why i have a weather rock.....its more accurate than any weatherman....
|
rustyBob
Hmmm if the rock is underwater it's rained..:3DSMILE: |
Let's hope this happens and we would have real race instead of boring, old "Commodore/Falcon" turn out.

Unfortunately there seems to be a crashed Cobra to read aboiut every week. One thing concerns me in this one, The bootlid is off the vehicle, the fuel tank became seperated from the vehicle and ended up near the house. Pretty damn scary to think the fuel tank (cell?) has let go and gone up and over that easy in what looks like a semi soft accident. If that is what happened? Hope it wasn't too bad on the occupant. |
That would be good Merv, and if Bathurst doesn't deliver the goods just add Bernie and his cloud seeding machine. When rocks, roos and rubbish aint enough for a pleasant weekend.
From SMH: Formula one boss Bernie Ecclestone says creating artificial rain during races could liven up the championship. Complaining that overtaking is difficult in dry conditions, Ecclestone says the "most exciting races [are] in the wet so let's think of making rain." On formula one's official website, Ecclestone added: "Why not let it 'rain' in the middle of a race? For 20 minutes or the last 10 laps? Maybe with a two-minute warning ahead of it." Ecclestone says "suspense would be guaranteed and it would be the same for all". |
For Pete's sake, what will these fools think of next. A random remote activated tyre puncture, a flock of seagulls deployed on the fastest section of the track, a mandatory siesta? How about on lap 28 they pull into a siding and complete a motorkhana before continuing.
If they want better racing, just design tracks with more challenges and more passing opportunities! |
How about the teammates have to come in for a driver change and swap cars!
Team orders would go out the window... |
