That is a great story! I heard that with Joh Petersen and then John Howard as the recipients.

Default Bush trip

I have been out bush all week,
In the attached album are a heap of pics of some cars I spotted along the way.
I may end up dragging the 2 Chargers home.
The green one is a sports model with a rare stripe and alot of options.

Boxhead,
I really like seeing and reading about your excursions in the field tin hunting. I happened on this thread by accident. Didn't expect to see it in the lounge.
I used to go out looking for tin in my younger days.
It really paid off too. Brings back good memories looking at your pics. Keep it up, love lookin' & dreamin'.
Maybe someday you can show a before and after pic.

Hersh

Default Dodgy scaffold

I'm sure most of us have seen many pictures of dodgy things (and in real life!), like the ute held up on an angle by a bit of lumbar while a guy works underneath it, or the guy doing electric work while standing on a metal ladder IN the pool......well just near me it looks like some home handyman is repairing windows or something, and has "erected" his own style of dodgy-brothers scaffold - the small angle pieces of wood on the right hand side appear to be held on with what looks like 1" brackets and self tappers.....

Here's the pic

scary stuff!

BMK, Yes I did hear a story about some McDonalds restaurant owner and some GT40, but Jamo would close down the thread if I posted it.
