Good thing I don't live in Chicago.

Hey there BMK, I haven't time for anything. I was looking at an Elk hunt, but Gerry and I are both working end to end.

Hows, the GT?
Hows the business?
Hows the wife?

Want me to ask a lot of questions or you can just tell me how Todd is and I will extrapolate the rest.

Dang, I got to work.

Hey Trularin...........err that'd be a no as we don't have 'gators over here, we have their somewhat bigger cousins Croc's instead
But we do have Asian Buffalo...& big arse bastards they are too, and they're FERAL as well, so you can shoot till you drop...........unless of course they get the drop on you! And yes they do charge !

Trularin

Dave,

All good here. So you will not get a chance to go hunting. Damn work..

Business is good here with a lot of renovations taking place. We have added onto the the restaurant and have all new coffee machines and other equipment. Slowed me down a bit as the installation has been all over the place.

Todd is doing a great job over there.

I have slowed down a little and sold off the apartment in Geelong. Sick of renovations there. The owner on the top level purchased the apartment we had renovated and the apartment next door that Todd was in.

I have since renovated and living in a home just nearby. That renovation took over two years at this home, and was a complete re build of an Eichler style home. We added all the modern touches - pool, spa, garage, hoist games room - all for me.. etc etc.

So back to playing with toys now. The GT40 is back and running and I'm about to re trim the interior and finish it off inside. It is running really well.

I had planned to get over to the 'Run N Gun' and spend a few weeks in the States there. But I missed getting good air seats so I have decided to let it go.

Andrew from Victoria - a GT40 owner - is heading over to catch up with Hershal and drive up to Midstates Raceway with him in Hershal's GT40.

So all going well. All good with you, Eric and the gang there..

Cheers

I was looking at that Factory Five coupe and talking with the guys at McDonald Racing about it. It is good value but we are checking up on the registration side of things and the chassis etc. May go Club rego. anyway.

I have seen a few top dollar cars sold on Club Rego. and I do not think that the Club rego. detracts from the perceived/real value...

Cheers

So, a fella like me could come there and hunt these beasts?

How big is big?

Crocs ya say? Are they fair game as well?

BMK, Erich is third year at UofM. I understand a mutual friend's son is first year at ATM ( Texas ). The rest of us are good. Still working to survive. Good to hear you are doing well.

How would I get all that meat home???

Problem is, they wouldn't let me leave. I'll have to do something and get kicked out.

I've got a few friends that have hunted Buffalo in the Northern Territory. There are also a lot of wild cattle up there that are fair game. You'll find scrub bulls weighing more than 600kg (1300pounds).

You need something fairly substantial to knock them over. A .338 weatherby magnum or the like.

There's companies up there that run safaris to hunt buffalo and scrub cattle. Could be an interesting holiday.

Cheers

HHmmm, me & my mates do a bit of hunting. Boars, Scrub bulls, buff, dingos & anything that is feral is fair game. We don't use guns though. The old bow is plenty powerful enough.

I was going to insert some pics here but I better not. If you want some pics let me know

Don't worry about crocs, I'll save you!!

McDonald

Lindsay

We just found out that the architects of the house renovations down here have entered our house in an housing award.

The pool company also has us up for the pool award for best small pool and spa pool in the pool awards.

here is the link

www.tonypreiato.com.au

You will have his home page come up with various photos of his homes, scroll down to see the enter line on the bottom.

Hit projects on the left then extensions then our name under Completed - Knight residence.

I understand that one of the home magazines will also do a feature on the whole house.

I have shown Chris the links as he is going ahead with his house.

Thanks

I put the link on the forum here, as I have been saying time and time again, that I cannot make events as I have been busy renovating etc.

So here is the proof...

Yes we are pretty happy.
