My left turn signal doesn't self-cancel but it seems to help me remember that the lever is on the right side after a week or so of not driving the car. Just eyeballing the possibility of swapping it to the.left, I think that it would interfere with fitting the tonneau cover which I have used quite a bit. Also, I had to get "technical support" to find the high beam headlight switch hidden in the lever.
