To Gunner's point, some people are more into the build than driving them. And there are a few prominent CC members that I would classify into that category. Nothing wrong with that either.

To the OP, be patient with your search and the right car will find you (or vice versa). Sounds like you have the funds to buy the right car...why compromise? My $0.02 on these cars...hit a bullseye the first time out or you'll be back in the market sooner than you thought. Buy as much car as you can afford. Buy more HP than you think you can handle. If you're smart about it you will grow into it. Always respect a snake. FWIW, my next motor will definitely be larger than 392CI.

You know, just once I'd like to see someone post "I'm just sick and tired of my big block FE, I'm going to rip it out and go with a small block." But, day after day, it's the same old small block owners whining that they should of gotten a big block.... Yeah, it gets old.

Dean never said he wants an FE. He said bigger than a 392W, which could mean a 402W or 427W.
