Your clever enough to add the smoke to the picture. Why don't you lift the picture and add it, and then send it the renegade blonde

Helped my soon to be (maybe) step-sister (6 years old) learn to ride her bike without training wheels... first words were "I can't do it without training wheels," two hours later.... "I don't need those stupid training wheels anymore!" Next step is to teach her to turn WITHOUT falling or picking the bike up and turning it around...

Pretty sure I could do that 4RE Killer.... maybe tomorrow or some other time... im tired, hungry and I have a T-bone calling my name.

Kristen: Where was the picture taken of "the beautifully restored CSX 3016" , the one that is in your gallery? (blue with white stripes, No. 7) How old is that picture? Do you happen to know where that particular car is?

Edley, I have no idea.... It was on the 'CC home page' gallery, and I liked it so much that I saved it to my gallery. It should have gone to 'my favorites', as I didn't take the picture.... I collect in my gallery lots of pics of cars with the white pipes. Sorry. If I come across it again, I'll let you know.

Kristen,

You are correct. Obviously I didn't recognize the significance of you replacing your tires. I thought we all did that when the old ones wore out. Can we expect to see those hanging as ornaments on your outside Christmas tree next Christmas?

BOO hoo

I have been running like a chicken with my head cut off today.

The airbag light on the F250 came on. Wouldn't you know it, it gets inspected this month. Took it to Ford today. The clock spring in the steering wheel is bad. $290.00 later still no worky! Theysaid they have to take out the airbag to get to it.1.5 hours @$ 85.00 per hour. Said only dealers can take out the airbag without deployment. I told him I see body shops do it everyday. He did not think that was funny. Said they could not remove them legally. (riiiiiight)

No horn, No cruise, airbag light is on, and Inspection sticker running on empty for the end of May. BOO HOO

You would think this was a boat, huh

Steve,

Remove air bag light or disconnect. By pass horn button for now and use a switch with remote so if they push the horn button you can make it honk. Make them cause the air bag to deploy and that takes care of the dealer charge for taking it out.

You know I thought of that.

I did just that. I unhooked the airbag light and sure enough the light went out. Only a ding...ding...ding all the time. I tracked down the bell and unhooked it Then a different ding..ding..ding, only much louder all the time. I unhooked that one and the truck would not start.

Called my cousin (more of a brother to me) with Ford. He says "yep, happens all the time. You can't bypass it, if you still need to drive the truck, Period. Tamper with it and the truck won't start" "take it to the dealer. They are the only ones who can fix it." Sounds like a rippoff to me.

I actually unplugged the computer and hooked up a laptop to run the truck. It ran fine, but the guys would not inspect it that way. Waht are you gonna do. They got me this time. They had to order a different part that they said was under the 100K warranty at no cost to me. He said they felt sure that would fix it. Will know tomorrow afternoon.

On a different subject.
Anyone know a decient merchant account provider? Mine seems to be crooked.

Steve,

Now that I am through laughing about you and your Ford ordeal, I will tell you about the dog. I am having a devil of a time making it look good. I can go into my animation program and change the frames, but the aspect ratio on him is such that to gethim big enough to really see well he looks funny. I am still trying different things and I actually put him on as my avatar for an hour or so, but that one showed up so small I didn't like it.
As for the light thing. I had a friend with a Firebird a few years ago and some light of his came on just as he was going in for his smog check. He turned around and brought it back out here and couldn't find anything at all, but the light wouldn't go out. So he took it to a garage and they worked on it for two days and got that light out but the check engine light I think it was wouldn't go off. They charged him over $500 dollars and told him he had to take it to Pontiac where they had the codes to tell what sensor that was. We called a friend who worked there and he told me how to take a paper clip and connect two of the inputs where they plug their analyzer togetherand then to watch a light and count the flashes. It would flash a few times, pause and flash another number of times. We told him what the number was and he said it is the air filter sensor. Opened the hood and the air cleaner was gone. The guy at the garage took it off and then put it in the trunk and forgot about it as he spent two days trying to find out why that light was on. I told him the next time he wanted his air cleaner taken off to call me and I would do it for $100 dollars instead of $500.

I tried to take out the bulb. Then the stupid ding...ding...ding

I treid to trick the truck into thinking the bulb was in place and burning by putting a piece of foil in the connectors where the light would go. Ding..ding..ding...,

I gave up. The stupid truck was smarter than I am. But then again I guess Ford spends hundreds of millions of dollars to make sure we can't bypass a light.

Ron:
That is the same problem I was having. When I would get him small enough to upload he looked like he--. I haven't given up either. I tried to break it down into single frames and seperate the frames. I have managed to do that but I can't get the one I want. If he can't run back and fourth I would like the area where he is wagging his tail.

I would like to turn him around. can't figure out how to do that either.

I think he would look better running to the right instead of the left. When I got him tunred around he had a green background.

Along with the dog running to the left, put a pellet like Blykins suggested following him with "Speed Trails," or matrix trails following the path of the pellet.

Better yet, make a big ball of ice fall on his head!

Steve,

The green box has a fault and they are sending a new one.

Ok, who did the dog for you? I had him almost that size and tried having him go both ways but just didn't like the way he looked. I have never had a problem with resizing frames and such in my animation program before and so I must be missing something and would like to find out what.
To turn him around all you have to to is a flip. It is just the aspect ratio that I was having a fit with. Also I cut the frames at the point he turned and trie having him go right only, then left only, and then just sit and wag the tail but still couldn't get it to look that good. I would like to talk to whoever did it and find out what they did as I don't use the animation program much and really don't begin to know all the secret tricks.

Ron
