http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...00348a-med.JPG Hey, Edley, quite clever! I wonder if anyone has heard of Bunnicula, having Funnicula!! Almost finished with those cards.... |
hey, tru! welcome back! Your post wasn't even there yet when I posted that photo, JUST FOR YOU! See, Ron, just a bit of snow today.... Very fun, and we're having snow ice cream.
Gosh, are we there yet? (1000) Kristen |
You are welcome to come and enjoy the winter blizzard we are expecting in the next 24 hours.
Nice house, We have a smaller house, but four outbuildings. Yukon is going to have a ball. Now, on with the show. |

|
Man, I go to work and come home and you guys add four pages! Don't any of you have a LIFE!!!
Mike |
hello, another Mike. no, we don't have a life. I have spent the whole day trying to get my Christmas cards done!
2 to go..... of course it's all due to this little challenge young Mike presented to me..... Where is he, btw?? I'm out. Going to go finish a "chick" book..... Kristen in fact, I haven't left the house all day, except to take my snow pics. Too far to walk to the mailbox in this cold!!! brrrr |
Im still here, just half awake. How the heck did you get so many posts so fast? Probably got hold of my seceret plan, didnt ya.
Tru, you can keep that white stuff, i have had enough of winter to last for two years. Kristen, shouldnt you be bonding with Pepe right now? |
Hey K, where is Sunnyvale?? I was in Texas once, got there in July and it was 110 in the shade (San Antonio) , left in December and it was -17 degrees (Witchita Falls).....toooooo much of a change for me!!! You guys are wayyyyy ahead of me on the post count for now.............
|
Earl, hows that Cobra of yours coming along?
Its 51* (not a typo,) sure beats 19*:) |
First off, it's like 6" onthe ground right now and Mike, you might want to get your shovel out and do some removal service for people, that should put a jingle in your pocket.
Here, if it doesn't have four wheel drive, it's not going anywhere. Will probably get another 6 to 8 during the day. AAAAHHHHHHHHHH...... it's the day after tomorrow!!!! |
Kristen,
Great picture and you have a beautiful house. The snow and the decorated tree look like an artist painted the scend. Poor Pepe. Why doesen't he have a heated room of his own? :) You know cars have feelings too and he may sulk and not start when you decide to take him out for a drive. After all, if talking to plants works, what can it hurt to talk to your car. Except my foot after a somewhat heated discussion about a flat tire on the Comet. :( I am going to print the picture out and show it to a friend of mine that loves scenes like that. Hope that you won't mind. Well today is my birthday, so I have to make sure the gates are locked and phones are off the hook as I don't really want to be reminded of it by the people around here calling to laugh and remind me that I am now the oldest living idiot in the village.  I will most likely be off and on the club today as the wind is blowing and cold and it looks as if that nasty weather they forecast for being here tomorrow from the Gulf of Alaska may be arriving a little early. Ron  |
WOW Ron, 29. You made it.
Happy Birthday!!! |
Tru,
Thanks for the compliment. I think I was 29 once but it was so long ago I don't remember it. Funny how I just couldn't wait to get to 16 so I could get a drivers license and now I am back in the same boat. Can't wait to be 16 again.  Ron  |
Santa's Ride
Subject: Santa's Ride
Santa Claus, like all pilots, gets regular visits from the Federal Aviation Administration, and it was shortly before Christmas when the FAA examiner arrived. In preparation, Santa had the elves wash the sled and bathe all the reindeer. Santa got his logbook out and made sure all his paperwork was in order. The examiner walked slowly around the sled. He checked the reindeer harnesses, the landing gear, and Rudolf's nose. He painstakingly reviewed Santa's weight and balance calculations for the sled's enormous payload. Finally, they were ready for the checkride. Santa got in, fastened his seatbelt and shoulder harness, and checked the compass. Then the examiner hopped in carrying, to Santa's surprise, a shotgun. "What's that for?" asked Santa incredulously. The examiner winked and said, "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you're gonna lose an engine on takeoff." :JEKYLHYDE |
Good morning, boys!
18* outside! brrr. Snow is still on the ground. Guess that's all we'll see for a while.... Still looks pretty.... Glad you like the pic, Ron! Feel free to copy, I feel that anything in somebody's gallery, post is "fair game" and certainly "public domain".
It was fun taking the pic for all you guys, just sorry the Cobra wasn't in it, with a big red bow on top! I tried posting the photo straight from computer to thread, but couldn't do it... need to get out your directions from months ago and see if it makes any better sense, now. Had to put it in the gallery first. Earl: Sunnyvale is a precious, sleepy town about 5 minutes from Dallas. :( If I got high enough above our house I could probably see downtown.... East of Dallas, next to a suburb called "Mesquite". Like the firewood, mesquite, grilled yadayada. It's very proud of its small town-ness, and has no Police dept. The dallas county sheriff's dept. patrols, and patrols well, I might add! (haven't gotten me yet, but lots of looks) - in the Cobra, I mean! So, Ron, 29 again? Do you FEEL 29 again? When are you getting back the Carb? Cold and windy where you are; cold and breezy here. Well, lots to do today. Grocery store, wrap presents. At least the blasted cards are done! None of you guys pm'ed me to get a card! :JEKYLHYDE HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! have a great day, guys. oh and Mike, it looks like you've flown by... oh well, I'll catch ya later...;) Kristen |
