Mike,

Pictures please !! Quit stalling. :)

And by the way Kristen, I help people with pictures as much as I can but Ron(CW) deserves most of the credit. He spent countless posts with me back when I had a cheapo photo program that wouldn't downsize pictures, explaining how to do this stuff and how to get it to work. So all I do is try to pass along what Ron taught me. I had computer experience, but when it came to the photo stuff I had never did a bit of it in my life. I was so dumb at it that when he said I had to make the picture smaller, I put it on the floor and jumped up and down on it to compress it.

Ron :o

enjoying this glorious day!

Beautiful day for a ride in the Cobra, or better yet, a ride on a new bike, with training wheels!

Ron, You learned to post photos from Ron (CW,) you taught me, then I taught other people. Its amazing how knowledge travels.

EDIT- Fixed the link

Ron61 12-26-2004 03:06 PM

Kristen,

Beautiful little girl you have there. Why wasn't that bike a COBRA model? She won't need the training wheels long. Heck, if I were there I would have her driving YOUR Cobra. :D :JEKYLHYDE

Mike,

Is the red Cobra in your picture your new one? What is the one in the display case on the right side of the picture. I can't read the base tag. I will try to get some pictures of my Shelby collection and post them. I have the Mustangs, Cobras, and the whole set of the Daytona Coupes plus the stainless one they gave to people who collected the other six. As for the helping people with posting pictures or anything else, that is what the fun of this club is about for me. What anyone teaches me, I am more than happy to pass along as we are getting new members who can use the help. However I fear the knowledge movement stopped with Kristen.   Just Kidding Kristen.

Ron :) :MECOOL:

LwCwb 12-26-2004 03:12 PM

Ron- Yea, the red one in the case is the new one, the picture dosent do the detail of it justice though. My dad got me a huse book about every single mustang ever built, from the concept of the stang was introduced, to the 05. Best of all, 90 percent of it are pictures!

Ron61 12-26-2004 03:20 PM

Mike,

Well I can see by the pictures that you are getting the camera figured out. If you hadn't read the instructions you would have been using hours earlier. How close to an object can you get with your camera? Mine will focus down to 6/10s of an inch on Super Macro mode, but I am so nervous that I have to use the tripod if I use it that way. The Macro mode will get me within 6 inches, and normal focusing is about 10 inches I think. Open that Cobra up and take a picture of the engine. On my model of CSX2000 the valve covers even have the hand painted 260-EXP on them. One of the GT-350 Mustangs has all the little detail like that and Shelby signed the papers for it. I wonder if I could use those papers as they are a reproduction of an original Bill of Sale, to register another car. :D %/

Looks like we're developing a topic here.......family photos........OK, I'll play along:D .

LwCwb 12-26-2004 03:46 PM

Ron, give me a little bit and ill get that engine pic for you....

hey,littlecobra 12-26-2004 03:47 PM

where are your family photos, Clay?

clayfoushee 12-26-2004 03:55 PM

Ooops

clayfoushee 12-26-2004 03:57 PM

What is that max size again? I thought it was 40K.

LwCwb 12-26-2004 03:58 PM

Clay, try uploading it to your gallery first.

LwCwb 12-26-2004 04:04 PM

Ron, I got as close to it as I could, again te pic dosent do the detail justice. It has the turkey pan aound the Stellings Air ceaner, the black surge tank, spark plug wires, even the 427 badge on the pentroof valve covers. Its very detailed, I have #0008 of 2500 made.

clayfoushee 12-26-2004 04:10 PM

The heck with it.....in the gallery. I don't know why I'm having issues with posting pictures here tonight, never have before, but unless I reduce it to a blurry, unrecognizable image, it's saying the file is too big. I had it below 40K.
