Obama Speaks, Pelosi Winces

How about Congressional Reform starting with Pelosi, Fienstien, Boxer and all the rest to follow.

Sounded fairly partisan to me Ron, it appears I was mistaken on that part. As has been said before, there is simply to much on the table right now to tackle that specific issue (tort reform). But it was encouraging to see that it has broad support and I hope, in due time, it comes around again.

Yes, I really DO believe we have good leadership, right now. I really DO see Obama making every attempt to reach a bi-partisan agreement on many of todays pressing issues. Frankly, I am loosing confidence in the Republicans to help make that happen.

Actually Ernie I lost confidence in the Republican and Democratic parties years ago to do much of anything but worry about their next election. I actually hope that Obama can succeed for the good of the country and I do believe he is trying in some ways, but I don't think he has the intelligence to do it himself. And some of the people he has appointed have no experience in what they are there for. Do away with the pay back appointments and put knowledgeable advisers in those positions that can actually understand what needs to be done and counsel him on it. But like with all past presidents, it will actually take years to know if he was a good leader. Just my opinion.
