I think you are channeling your view of what the republican party is and was, they are the liars they are the ones who can't govern, they are the ones with no respect for others let alone the President, never before has there been an outburst such as that, and Joe Wilson should be sanctioned and fined on the house floor and made to apologize to all Americans, this is not one of the town hall meetings where you shout down a women in a wheel chair, but then what can you expect.
You have to read the bill to know what's in it, and its apparent too many on this site are incapable of doing that. So go ahead keep shouting at the lady in the wheel chair it only shows you for who you really are, Ignorant redneck bigots!

Thanks Cobra Bill, no doubt you just got MY thread locked. And it is possible that that is your intent... to stifle discussion. I hope Jamo will not do that. Maybe Jamo can think of something else to do here and let this thread stay open.

When a person is constantly being bombarded with lies, they will eventually boil over. That is all that happened last night. Joe Wilson is neither a red neck nor is he and incompetent congressman. The president has the bully pulpit. If he wants to lie to the Americans, he has every right to do so. Now, if Americans choose to believe those lies, well, that is their choice also.

I thank Joe Wilson for saying what I was thinking. Obama IS lying to us. Most of us here know that. Obama knows that if he fails here, his presidency is doomed. It is not our fault that HE chose to stick his neck out on this one. Passing this bill to save him is the stupidest thing we could ever do.

When his site comes back up (joewilson.house.gov) I intend to thank him.
