I will fit this after its running. Cool piece to have after start up.
Will need to repair the seam pull and also add a roll bar pocket. Makes it a three season adventure............ ;) |
Hi Jeff,
Lovin the period correct goodies! Not to affect the patina look, but if you're looking to add a little better visibility to the rear window, try using Meguire's Plastx maybe on the inside. I've had great luck with it. http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...leaner-polish/ |

Have a bottle on the shelf.... TY |
Yup, roll bar need pocket. I had my top off this summer. When I reinstalled it, I was able to get a little better fit. Things stretch...

Funny as I get older my arms are getting shorter, cant see anything... |
Who did your pocket? ERA?
|
I had mine done in CA(where I lived at the time), after I finished the car. It looks a little different than how ERA does it. We're close enough ERA that I'd just take it down & have them do it, now. You might check with English car clubs to see if they have a good recommendation. We have an English car meet here in Stowe, every summer.

Ok, spring height and the G6 were not jiving. Picked up a set of 7.75-15 Power Cushion, looks much better and front fenders cover better......
I think anyway, slight spring settle and we are in...... |
SPAX also makes shocks for the leaf spring chassis.
|
They, SPAX, are on my car, dampening the buggy spring.
Ross: Looked for you at SAAC39? Hey, would love to have you at our annual bash, August 9th. |
Where did you find the alt lamp? We ended up making new ones.
Larry |
You know it's basically June? You better HTFU! We want to see that golden beauty on the road this summer!!!!

Planning a ride to VT in July

Hi Jeff,
Haven't seen the name "Power Cushions" since scrubbing the whitewalls on my Dad's '67 Pontiac LeMans Sprint. I really wanted him to spend the extra $22 for the redline Wide Ovals. Don't recall them being much of a performance tire, but I see they came on new Corvettes in 1967. Looking forward to seeing you again in August. |

Guessing they are not G6 like however most of the time its a road car. Been wiring DB10 done Dash in Ready for G24 battery.................. Fire in the hole..... |
Jeff ~ I sure hope you're planning to produce a nice video introduction once the car is complete. A full walk-around with on-road drive.
Your work and attention to detail have been inspiring and the car is coming along beautifully. Can't wait to see it on the open road. |
Yup
I will make a grand video......... After all this time its a must. Of course the process is time, money and effort which time has been an issue as of the last couple years. On it though. |
