Beautiful car! You are an inspiration for me to keep working until it is done, and I hope mine is half as good as yours! I love the Webers, I am glad I sold my Dual Quads and went with Webers.

Would you beleive it !! Looks like you will actually have a turn key AC @ the summer outing this year! Congrats M8; she took awhile but she sure looks worth all the time invested. See you @ the outing.

Jeff, looks great and now sounds great. Congratulations, and thanks for providing us with the story of the build.
Can you jog my memory on what cam and lifters you're using?
Cheers,
Glen

Oh, my....you could see immediatly in that first video where the "bug" bit Max....that smile when he hit the accellerator and heard/felt the noise was when it got "real"... I can remember a similar experience as a youngster. Way to pass on the affliction, Jeff! Love the sound of the car, too...fantastic job!

- Allen.

Thanks guys

This weekend got the 240A going, front fans and most lights.

Glen, will look up tonight. Been awhile, they are solid though.

H, Running original mufflers from a 289 with replica 289 headers.............

Allen, he loves this stuff.............. He is hooked.....

Anyone know how to get the prime started in the 240A?
It turns on and pumps but it is dry at the moment, do not want to burn out motor trying to get it wet.
Have it feeding the mechanical, should I just start the car and let the draw of the Carter prime?

Updates

240A is primed and working, this is great!
Reduced Weber jetting....
Lights work, left rear original L542 might need to be replaced. overall great!
Brake lights work......
Blinkers still in process, getting the vintage DB10 to work is a pain
Filled and bled Clutch....
"Car moves forwards and back".........

Filled brakes and found front calipers are leaking,

Gave up on it tonight.
Might be banjo bolt too long or something else? Cooked one caliper

FYI

Drove it down the driveway and backed it back in, no brakes makes it hard not to head down the road....

First drive that's huge! Let me know if you need parts to fix brakes.
