I know Dan's tech drawing of the belt lettering lists the original belt as .375" wide, Gates 8220. If the pulleys are period, they would be set up for that width belt. Not wanting to pick nits of course, you know me! It was just a thought as I stared at your pics!

The length is funny due to original alternator bracket.
Have not been able to find 49.5"-50" version
Am I searching in the wrong place?

I think it's supposed to be 48" but haven't tried it real world. Do you think that would be too short?

Might be tight as current belt 50.
Only little play.

This time of year, you should use those slots for an actual windshield. If I recall, it was about this time last year when we went out to breakfast wearing goggles. Very cold!!!

Kevin

You are right. Just can't bring myself to install.
Have a nice windshield ready to install.
Can't face reality I guess.

Your car looks bad@$$ with the comp screen. I am going to at least make sure that I allow for mounting a comp screen on my car even if I never actually use it...

My inspiration, Kevin...getting there one step at a time...hope to be able to call my car CSX3014R someday.

Not sure about the white pipes...kinda like my black...and though I love the comp screen, I'm afraid none of the girls would ride with me anymore

Bill

I really like the looks of the comp screen and it certainly fits the part on Goldie!!
I put a new windshield in my car and took a couple pics of it before setting it in place. It looked kind of racy!

Where does one find a comp screen anyway??

Hey Bill,

If you like black sidepipes, you can always go with 3020R. One of my very favorite Cobras.

Right now I am leaning towards the look of CSX3026 with the FIA wheels. Need to figure out how to match the look of Jeff's wheels...
