If you really want to dwell in the RC (roll center) issue, I believe the front RC should be the same distance to the (front) center of gravity (CG) as the rear. If not, the longer leverage (longer distance) will cause that end to oversteer.
front CG is approx at camshaft centerline, rear at diff input shaft.
Does that make sense?
Of course, you don't want any bump steer.
