Air coming out of hood scoop
Just as Barnsnake said, my experience is that air comes out of the scoop.
I was gunning it in my SPF and it backfired at about 50 mph. Smoke came out of the scoop. That would tell me that the side vents and hood scoop struggle a bit in letting all the incoming air from the mouth, out of the engine compartment. At least in a SPF engine compartment with a SB.
